In this week’s Breggin Hour, recorded September 2, 2026, we sat down again with our dear friend Dr. James Thorp—board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, maternal-fetal medicine specialist, Air Force veteran, and one of the few men at the top of conventional medicine who still relies on critical intelligence instead of institutional obedience.
Jim has overseen tens of thousands of high-risk pregnancies. He has written more than 250 scientific papers. He has examined candidates for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has testified before the United States Congress. Those are the credentials the establishment loves—until the credentialed man starts telling the truth.
We first published together in 2022, in Patient Betrayal: The Corruption of Healthcare, Informed Consent and the Physician-Patient Relationship. That paper named what we had already documented in COVID-19 and the Global Predators: We Are the Prey: the medical system did not merely make mistakes. It has abandoned the patient. Informed consent was shredded. Doctors who refused to inject an experimental genetic product into pregnant women and babies were threatened, silenced, and driven out.
Jim was one of those doctors. He did not look away.
The encounter with evil
When Ginger and I were writing COVID-19 and the Global Predators, we both had an experience we had never had in decades of exposing psychiatric drugs, electroshock, psychosurgery, and the violence initiative aimed at inner-city children. We would come upon another layer of the plan—Bill Gates’s presentations to the World Health Organization, the CEPI business model, the gain-of-function partnership with the Chinese military—and feel as if we were staring into an overwhelming evil–and that it was staring back.
He called the pandemic years a spiritual battle against demonic entities who orchestrated horror under the cover of public health. We agree. No ordinary bureaucratic bungling produces a worldwide campaign to inject an untested genetic platform into pregnant women, to suppress early treatment of a pandemic, to destroy informed consent, and then to pretend the resulting injuries are a mystery called “long COVID.”
As we wrote then, and as we keep writing on breggin.com: we are all the prey. The predators are not a metaphor. They are institutions, billionaires, agencies, and a captured profession. The only answer is truth spoken in love, and endurance.
The question no blood bank wants asked
This hour was not an abstract argument about “vaccine hesitancy.” It was about blood.
If a man or a woman has been injected with a modified mRNA product, what is circulating in that person’s blood? Spike protein. Modified, pseudouridylated mRNA that can persist in exosomes. Lipid nanoparticles. Plasmid DNA leftover from the E. coli production process—work Dr. David Speicher and Kevin McKernan have documented, and which Jim’s new papers cite. SV40 promoter sequences. Fibrin aggregates and microclots. Amyloid. Misfolded proteins that behave like prions.
Ginger put the question the way a wife and a citizen puts it: when someone needs a transfusion, will they receive blood from a vaccinated donor? How often? And what does that blood do to the recipient?
We remember AIDS. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the blood industry and the health agencies were late—lethally late—to admit that donated blood could carry a new pathogen. Hemophiliacs and transfusion patients paid with their lives while officials gave the public false assurances. Directed donation and autologous donation became a patient’s last defense. That history is not a curiosity. It is a warning.
Jim told us that the night before our interview, the two papers he has been building toward for years were accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. The preprints are already public. He took first authorship himself because younger colleagues feared the political and legal attack that always follows this subject. That fact alone tells you the state of medicine.
Part I is “Potential Implications of COVID-19 Vaccination for Blood Donation: A Retrospective Case Series and Literature Review.” The co-authors are Claire Rogers, PA-C; R. Clinton Ohlers, PhD, of the Safe Blood Foundation; M. Nathaniel Mead, PhD; Nicolas Hulscher, MPH; Kirstin Cosgrove; Sierra Hamm, RN; David Speicher, PhD; and Steven Hatfill, MD. It is an IRB-approved, hypothesis-generating safety-surveillance study. Nine patients or families came forward because they believe a loved one was killed or injured by a contaminated transfusion. The authors do not call these cases “smoking guns.” Jim said that plainly. Nobody walks into a hospital for a transfusion who is otherwise perfectly well. There is always another illness that the defenders of the shots will use as a confounding variable. That is how the profession hides.
